My Little Story

Hi there!

I’m Abby— owner of Little Red Floral & Gifts!

At 27 years old, I’m happily married (ahhh!), a follower of Jesus, and proud to be 100% Colorado grown. Oh, and I believe that pineapples do belong on pizza :)

My whole life I’ve always been artsy-craftsy and I have been working with flowers for many years now—there’s probably flower pollen and glitter running through my veins!

As an exclusive event florist for Colorado residents, I bring four years of flower shop experience, two and a half years of running Little Red, and the addition of furthering my education to become a Certified Floral Designer, to the table. I’m confident in the designs and floral knowledge I have to offer, and I’d love to work with you one-on-one to turn your floral dreams into a reality.

With over six years combined in floristry, I’m always excited about the new, fun, unique, and challenging opportunities that the world of floral design presents!

When I’m not deep in flowers, I enjoy designing stickers, making polymer clay earrings, and spending time with my sweet husband and dogs—Obi-Wan & Anakin!

Please email me with any floral inquiries—I’m happy to collaborate on any vision you have as well as send free, transparent floral quotes!

You’re totally awesome! Thank you for supporting my little dream!

XO,
Abby (aka “Little Red”)

P.S. Scroll down to read the short story behind where the name “Little Red” came from!

Where did the name “Little Red” come from?

"Little Red" is my nickname that originated back in high school when I played volleyball! There’s a couple parts to how this became my nickname. One, I am a natural redhead, and two I wasn’t exactly towering over anyone on the volleyball court—my specialty was back row because, well, my vertical leap wasn’t front-row material… but boy, I sure loved playing back row and being lower to the ground—I thrived there! On my team was an upperclassman, also a redhead, but was much taller and owned the front row—she was a beast! So, when I made the team, other teammates couldn’t help but notice both of our matching fiery hair, and they started calling us "Big Red" and "Little Red." Naturally, I was dubbed "Little Red," and the name stuck!

As I began my business journey as a florist, the name felt like the perfect fit—reflecting my red hair, fiery passion for flowers, and that overall it’s an easy, fun, memorable name. "Little Red" is now more than just a nickname; it’s who I am, my brand, and I love that so many people compliment what a neat business name it is!
